I joined the Office of the Vice-President Research on March 1.  One of our first tasks was to bring researchers together to discuss recent changes at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, and how we could position our grant applications to best respond to these changes.  At “SSHRC Day” we also launched a peer support process through which researchers applying to SSHRC can get advice and support from their colleagues.

We are also in the midst of writing a Research Plan.
